Following the hit debut run of ADHD on the 2018 National Arts Festival Fringe, Aaron is set to take his home base audience by storm with his latest one-man comedy riot! This is now up and running at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre on UKZN’s Durban campus until 10 March 2019.

Produced by MacBob Productions, this hilarious take on the ‘problems’ of ADHD and other ‘disturbing behavioural patterns’ is charmingly portrayed by SA’s master of character comedy. Facts and theories are turned on their heads –literally! – we get a bird’s eye view into the chaotic and beautiful mind of Aaron McIlroy, who has lived with this ‘gift’ for the last half-century.

Quips Aaron about his new show: “If not exactly autobiographical, I certainly have inside information!” The veteran comic’s hugely popular brand of humour has spiced up the theatre scene over several decades.

Billed as a comedic steamroller without GPS, ADHD is scripted by Aaron McIlroy and Patrick Kenny, and directed by Kenny.

ADHD plays at 19:30 (Tuesdays to Saturdays) and at 15:00 (Sundays). Tickets are R150 throughout. Booking is through Computicket on 0861 915 8000 or online at
