FIGURED PROGRAMME – Main
We are inviting professional contemporary choreographers to apply for a commissioning fee to create and/or present a new work at the Dance Umbrella Africa 2020 Festival. This work must premiere at the DUA 2020 at The South African State Theatre, Pretoria. Local and international collaborations are eligible. The production must be a minimum of 60 minutes.
FIGURE PROGRAMME – Young Artists
We are inviting young artists that are looking for a platform to showcase their work, the South African State Theatre will provide free infrastructure and technical support perform on a 30/70 split on the box office revenue. The production must be a minimum of 30 Minutes.
We are inviting professional & young artists that are looking for a platform to create and/or present work at the Dance Umbrella Africa 2020 Festival. This work is of a peculiar nature (Performance Art)
Local and international collaborations are eligible. The production must be a minimum of 45 minutes.
FIGURING PROGRAMME – Stepping Stones
We invite artists of All genres of dance to come and showcase their work under the figuring programme (Stepping Stones). the South African State Theatre will provide free infrastructure and technical support, the production must be a minimum of 20 Minutes.
