Big Daddy’s Big Show is a Fathers’ Day special variety show with comedy, magic, burlesque and live band on 17 June at Bombshelter Brewpub, Cape Town.
Is your Dad tired of getting socks and ties every Fathers’ Day? Then treat him to “Big Daddy’s Big Show”. Hosted by Bombshelter Brewpub at Sunrise Park (near Pinelands), you will enjoy hilarious stand-up comedy, a naughty burlesque performance, boggling comedy magic, with live music by rockabilly-band The Ratrod Cats.
Bring Dad, Mom and the grown-up kids to feast on delicious fresh pizzas and craft beer while being thoroughly entertained by some of Cape Town’s best live entertainment.
Comedy magician Greg Gelb has the magical talents and sharp wit to leave you laughing while still completely mystified by his amazing illusions.
Bon Bon might by shy and quiet by day… but on stage its lights, camera, action! This sexy dancer will surprise and delight you with her bootylicious burlesque act that will leave you gasping for more.
Closing the show will be the legendary South African stand-up comedian Nik Rabinowitz. Nik has performed in Australia, Canada, Holland, the United Kingdom, the USA, and Zimbabwe, and he’s recently performed to sold-out theatres with his one-man show, “Dry White”.
Throughout the evening, you’ll be dancing in your seats to the “old school” rock-and-roll, country and rhythm-and-blues music of The Ratrod Cats.
Leave the young children at home and gift your Dad to a great night out.
Doors open at 6pm, the show starts at 19:00 and ends at 21:00 (so no ‘Monday morning blues’!).
