On Saturday morning’s edition of Saturday’s Role With Reno, Etienne Shardlow paid a visit to The Teatro at Montecasino where he spoke to Kitty Harris, Morgan Santo, Lilla Fleischmann, the three stars of Matilda The Musical, alongside Anton Luitingh of Musical Theatre Workshop.

Matilda The Musical is the multi-award winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, inspired by the beloved book by the incomparable Roald Dahl.
With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda The Musical is the story of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.
Winner of over 85 international awards, including 16 for Best Musical, Matilda The Musical is now in its seventh year in London where it continues to delight audiences of all ages.
The South African Production opened in Johannesburg at The Teatro at Montecasino in October and moves to Cape Town’s Artscape in December where it runs till mid-January.
In his chat with the stars, Etienne spoke to them about the show, their love of musical theatre and the challenge of being away from school.
