National Children’s Theatre (NCT) is hosting a Young Directors Festival from May to September culminating in a showcase as part of our Heritage celebrations. From classes to workshops, to the shows that empower children.
The Young Directors Program was created to provide opportunities for emerging directors to increase their practical experience and develop their craft in a safe and supportive environment. This program is intended to equip trainees with producing and stage management skills as well as directing experience and mentorship.
The National Children’s Theatre is looking for 5 fresh, dynamic and energetic graduates or students (aged 18-25) who want to build their experience as directors! The theme for this year´s festival is HERITAGE with a specific emphasis on South-African Icons.
