On Saturday morning’s edition of Saturday’s Role With Reno, host Renos Spanoudes spoke to Alan Glass about the new musical, Couch and a Piano, that takes a humorous but edgy look at divorce.
Couch and a Piano.
A hilarious musical about divorce starring Cat Simoni and Alan Glass, Directed by Paul Spence.
Jo, a recent divorcee, arrives for her first session with Cape Town`s top psychologist, Carl Zimmerman. Apart from the expected couch in the consulting room, there is a Steinway baby-grand piano and a couple of guitars. Here Carl uses music therapy to work through divorce issues. In this 60-minute musical rollercoaster-ride, they lay bare their broken hearts through song and chat. By the end of the session, these two total strangers are ready to fall in love again. It`s a musical fun for all.
