On Saturday morning’s edition of Saturday’s Role With Reno, host Renos Spanoudes spoke to Branton Charles about the success of his hit debut single Closest To Heaven in Europe.

Born and bred in Branton Charles grew up in poverty in Mitchell’s Plain and is 1 of 6 children. Now 30, Branton started singing at age 6. Raised by a single parent, he contributed the money he made singing to his family, and always hoped that one day his music would play on radio.
Branton’s debut single Closest To Heaven has charted on radio stations in Germany, Japan, France and Australia, and is currently the No.1 song in Germany on Radio Marabu.
