Carli J Myers – Just Sayin
A hot ‘n sassy new chart-topping star Carli J Myers shines brightly as she shares her vibrant, upbeat personality and multiple talents including dancing, acting, modelling, songwriting and singing internationally.
Her eclectic style is a spicy blend of pop, rock and country music. On Friday she released her new single Just Sayin’ which you can stream or download here.
Carli’s fresh sound has been making waves internationally and has been voted number 1 in the international competition SuperXtar, taking her into the semi-finals and ultimately onto our charts and playlists. Having worked with skilled South African music teachers, top record producers (both locally and abroad) and leaders in the music industry, Carli’s well on her way to the top.
Carli’s brand-new track came about quite serendipitously while on a recent trip to New York to run the NY Marathon. While in the Big Apple, Carli managed to find the time to meet with BMI Vice-President Charlie Feldman, who then subsequently introduced her to American Idol Top 8 finalist and singer-songwriter, Robbie Rosen. With only a few hours before her flight left to fly Carli back to South Africa, the two managed to meet up, determined to finish the song and get her vocals down. Working into the night, ‘Just Sayin’ was born, and Robbie rushed her to the train station where she just managed to jump on the last train back to Manhattan. Carli describes the experience as “riveting and such an adventure! Robbie is so talented and such a wonderful person to work with!”.
