On Saturday morning’s edition of Saturday’s Role With Reno, host Renos Spanoudes spoke to Terry Norton about The Forgiven.
The Forgiven is a British drama film based on the play The Archbishop and the Antichrist by Michael Ashton. The film tells the fictional story of prison meetings between Archbishop Desmond Tutu and convicted ex-South African Defence Force officer Piet Blomfeld.
Blomfeld is a potential witness to murders committed during the time of Apartheid but shows no regret and no willingness to speak.
After an attempt on his life by another prisoner he begins to considering confessing, but some of the other individuals involved in the murder are working at the prison and do not wish for the information to be revealed.
South African actress Terry Norton plays Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s secretary.
