Joburg Theatre on a nomination streak at The Naledi Nomination Reveal for productions staged in 2018. Joburg Theatre is pleased to be nominated for 23 awards in collaboration with the renowned producers, Lara Foot for Tshepang, The Third Testament and Bernard Jay for both The Color Purple and Snow White.

 

The nominations received also include recognition for Akhona Bozo – Senior Sound Technician at Joburg Theatre who has been with the company for 13 years.

“This is my first nomination for the Naledis and I am quite excited to be nominated along with industry greats for sound design,” says Akhona.

“It is befitting to recognize the great talent on our stages, the behind the scene investment from rehearsals and the final product is evident to the teamwork and ultimately reviews and offering to our patrons,” says, Makhaola Ndebele, Artistic Director at Joburg City Theatres.
