Bijou
Bijou

Following in the same theme as Bonsoir and Caliente, Followspot presents their latest creation, ‘Bijou’. A compilation of visually teasing acts seamlessly strung together with comedy and pizzazz. A little spicy, a little naughty and a lot of fun. Perfect for everyone to revel in escapism. With a spectacular cast of unique and hugely talented performers, Bijou promises a night you will not forget. A bit of cirque, a touch of comedy, sexy dance (remember the Big Boys?), sophisticated cabaret and vaudeville. We look forward to dazzling you socks off!

Beyond Broadway
Beyond Broadway

Offbeat Broadway – Behaving Badly is all the musicals you could never afford to see. In one night!… sort of. Now in its 5th incarnation, they’re older… not necessarily wiser… behaving badly… and this time they’ve teamed up with none-other than the wackiest of them all, Alan Committie in the director’s chair!

It’s a recipe for Broadway mayhem! The brilliant Anton Luitingh, Paul Du Toit and Lindy Abromowitz, still together after ALL these years, are bringing us a new take on the world’s most loved and loathed musicals, just not in the way that you thought possible! Say no more. Just experience the brilliance of it all!

The Man and the Mouse
The Man and the Mouse

From Broadway to Disney … be sure to see The Man and The Mouse providing a behind the scenes glimpse at the story of Disney studios and the incredible mind behind it all. This show is guided along by the music which has captured the imagination and hearts of people of all ages, stripped down and re-arranged into an intimate showcase of classic Disney magic.

Hot off an acclaimed and sold-out run at the Joburg Theatre, this unusual show reimagines music from the likes of Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Toy Story, Tangled and Frozen. It revives them and provides a heartfelt homage to the incredible creations of Disney.

“…The show draws you in to really listen, perhaps for the first time, to the exquisite music and lyrics of songs you thought you knew” (Tonight, 2015).

A show for dreamers of all ages – witness Disney like you’ve never seen it before!

Spanish Fire
Spanish Fire

And from Disney to Spanish Fire. Join the international award-winning guitar duo, CH2, and The Montoya Spanish Dance Theatre in a thrilling stage production called Spanish Fire! Corneille Hutten and Maria Lorca Montoya have shared many a stage bringing an exciting combination of VIRTUOSO guitar work and Spanish dance to the stage… not just in the ways of traditional flamenco rhythms, but with the sounds of familiar songs of the heart and melodies that carry you to a world away from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives!

CH2 will be joined on stage by Maria Lorca Montoya and her dancers to set the stage on fire with fancy footwork, gentle use of flamenco fans and enticing rhythms of castanets.
