Pearson goes travelling in Bon Voyage, a journey around the world. The school won the High School Junior Theatre Clover Showtime 2017 Show of the Year Award with the Laurika Rauch salute, Onthou om te Onthou. Collegiate won their Clover Showtime Show of the Year with Legally Blonde: The Musical, in 2015 and now returns with Through TIme, a look at popular and theatre music across the years.

Pearson’s musical trek covers many genres – traditional, folk, R&B, reggae, rock and pop – old favourites mixed with more recent hits, performed by Pearson students and a live band.

Directed by Linda-Louise Swain and Les Bubb and scripted by Jaco Gerber, vocals are directed by Anton Steyn and Terry-Ann Julies, with all the numbers staged by Siobhan Day, who also choreographed Onthou om te Onthou to Clover Showtime award-winning success this year.

The band is directed by Tania Leurquain-Steyn with lighting and visuals by Leon Piron and Megan Schram.

Collegiate High’s revue, Through Time, is also performed by pupil and is directed by Nadine Myburgh, with musical direction by Ann Yates, who co-directed Legally Blonde: The Musical, two years ago.

The production, to be staged in the Savoy Theatre in Adcockvale, will open with a gala evening at 5.30 for 6pm on Wednesday, March 22, and will also feature an additional matinee performance at 2pm on Saturday, March 25. The evening shows from Thursday to Saturday will all be at 19:00.
