On Saturday morning’s edition of Saturday’s Role With Reno, host Renos Spanoudes interviewed Alan Committie about The Play That Goes Wrong.
The Play That Goes Wrong
The Play That Goes Wrong – described by Pieter Toerin as the funniest play ever, is currently on stage at Pieter Toerin’s Montecasino Theatre Studio, directed by comic actor Alan Committie.
When the accident prone, inept Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society receives an unexpected financial legacy, the amateur group decides to put the windfall to good use. But when they attempt to put on a complicated 1920’s murder mystery play, all hell lets loose. Everything that can possibly go wrong does so, to hilarious effect, and audiences find the resulting chaos so funny that the entire theatre ends up in complete, total, happy disarray, night after night.
