On Saturday morning’s edition of Saturday’s Role With Reno, host Renos Spanoudes interviewed Charlotte Du Plessis about the Woman of Stature: Woman of the Year Awards 2017.

The Woman of Stature (WOS): Woman of the Year Awards has selected 30 finalists for the 2017 awards. Under the theme of ‘Shine like the star you are’, they will be competing at the ceremony on 11 March at Emperor’s Palace for one of the nine awards.

The annual Awards are not limited to any particular field of endeavour and for this reason rank among the most prestigious awards in South Africa for women.

“All proceeds [from the event] go towards our charitable causes which are CANSA and Hospice Wits, and our own 5 Pillars of Empowerment programme to train, develop and uplift women across South Africa,” says WOS founder, Charlotte du Plessis. Last year du Plessis received recognition as the founder of Woman of Stature, winning the Margaret Hirsch Women in Business Achievers Award in Strubens Valley.
