On Saturday morning’s edition of Saturday’s Role With Reno, host Renos Spanoudes spoke to director Sylvaine Strike about Molière‘s Tartuffe.
Tartuffe first performed in 1664, is one of the most famous theatrical comedies by Molière. The characters of Tartuffe, Elmire, and Orgon are considered among the greatest classical theatre roles.
This comedy, with a cast of well known names in South African theatre, has been touring the country, starting at the Soweto Theatre, and recently returned from Cape Town for a run at the Joburg Theatre.
