We Will Worship is among the forerunners of contemporary gospel in South Africa and has garnered multiple nominations and awards. With roots in traditional South African gospel and their own brand of creative flair, We Will Worship has successfully crafted a style of music that appeals to the new generation of gospel lovers.

We Will Worship - The MoveMEANT BeginsComposed of accountants, teachers, engineers and nurses, We Will Worship is a collective of personalities with a common passion for making and sharing music. Their debut album The Movement Begins received critical acclaim and collected multiple industry awards. In their breakthrough year they eclipsed many household names and were invited to perform live at the 2012 SAMAs. They boast a strong following of fans with many of their songs sung in churches across South Africa.

Their latest album Mmuso debuted at #1 overall on SA iTunes. The 18-track album successfully treads a fine line between simplicity and complexity in both writing and sound. Recorded live in Johannesburg, the album has songs sung in seven Southern Africa languages, and features the talents of guest artists such as Khaya Mthethwa, Bongeziwe Mabandla and Khayelihle Maziya (Swaziland).

We Will Worship Christmas Concert at Newtown Junction“None of us do music and music alone, and this brings great diversity and colour into what we do and create. We get to experience God’s kingdom in different ways on a daily basis. We always bring who we are to every performance,” says Langa Mbonambi.

With four song leaders, who are known to compose spontaneous songs while performing, you never know what you’re going to get at a We Will Worship performance, but expect authenticity, creativity, and beautiful music that will leave you feeling uplifted.
