Following the initial rounds since February 2018 that involved more than 1100 entries, 87 participants will now compete in the 4 semi-final rounds for

  • Classical and classical-crossover music
  • Contemporary music;
  • Dance; and
  • Drama.

All participants are looking forward to the support of their various communities and friends, as well as everyone that believes in the future of the arts in our country.

Over and above promising great entertainment to young and old, the 4 semi-final shows will give parents keen to introduce their kids to the arts, an ideal opportunity to have them experience the wealth and diversity of the various art genres.

The final round, featuring the junior and senior winners of the various genres at the semi-finals, will be presented at the Roodepoort Theatre on Saturday May 19. A panel of five adjudicators, representing the different genres, will select the winners of the gold medal (R35,000), silver medal (R10,000) and bronze medal (R5,000).

Ticket cost: R70 – R100. Block bookings available.
